POSITION PURPOSE:

To provide analytical and quantitative support in pursuit of residuals compliance as per the SAG-AFTRA Agreements

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

This section provides a general summary of the most significant job duties performed.  It does not explain in detail every single duty performed.

  • Prepare residuals extrapolations for arbitration as requested by Legal
  • Prepare residuals calculations for residuals and/or legal settlements
  • Research and compile data around exhibition, distribution and licensing of SAG-AFTRA covered pictures
  • Prepare declarations and testify at arbitrations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Must have a thorough knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook);

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Labor Relations or related discipline preferred, or 5+ years combination of education and work experience with residuals distribution agreements, licenses and statements
  • Legal and accounting experience a plus

TESTING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic skills:  spelling, math, grammar and filing – passing score: 76%
  • Microsoft Word and Excel tests (basic, intermediate and advanced) – passing score: 76%
  • Typing test 35 WPM
  • Writing test
